Came here on a Sunday with my family. It was definitely busy but we got seated pretty quick. Waiter brought us our drinks quick. Food was also good. Won Ton soup was my favorite! They have a variety. Only downfall was that tables are a little close so hard to get by. Would come back

Great value buffet with fully stocked stations and attentive servers. Chicken dishes are particularly fresh and delicious. My only knock is that if you are a single diner they require you to sit at a really small table and you can never get a booth.

I love going to this place for lunch or dinner! It's very clean and service people are very friendly! My favorite choices are the brócoli beef or chicken and brócoli ... I love their Brócoli. It's always fresh and very tasty! They also have the best hot and sour soup! Perfect every time! They do have a choice of 4 hot soups, shrimp, egg drop and dumpling are the other 3! For lunch they also have egg foo young! Yummy! These are My favorite items but they also have crab, salmon, sea bass, and shrimp dishes galore! Their sushi is always good too and they do have a good assortment of fruit and deserts! I visit often!

First of all this review that I'm uploading is from a friend of mine that came into town & really wanted to eat some Chinese food. So mind you this is not my review I have not eaten at China Star in years especially during the pandemic I now have a personal chef instead. I would eat here. 1. They have upgraded their Buffet restaurant. New tables, new chairs new booths new decorations , pictures on the walls. They have upgraded their food line their sneeze guards their decor. The restrooms in the men & women's restroom has been upgraded nice& clean & the doors are not your standard American doors they go all the way down to the floor so you can Actually have privacy! 2. When you're greeted at the door they are very politevery welcoming they have very good attitudes & so does the staff that bring you your drinks very attentive very clean. 3. The cooks in the back are doing a very good job with the food it is actually delicious. The food is replenish very often & the counters of the food line are cleaned all the time. You can tell that they are taking great pride in their buffet restaurant now. Reminding you once again this is not my review this is my friends that went over there they were extremely hungry. 4. The price is there are extremely reasonable if you're in the area of where this is located this is the only Chinese buffet around in the immediate area it is great pricing it has great food the prices drinks are reasonable also. 5. The food's on their list they do not have lobster if they end up doing lobster one day the price will go up and that's understandable. For dinner they have oysters, crab, shrimp, barbecue chickens grilled chickens teriyaki chickens, beef broccoli's, vegetables, salad bar, have french fries of course Pizza dimsum, dumplings soups crab rangoon they have a good portion of foods there & of course they have the ice cream machine. They have different varieties of versions of the chicken dishes, shrimp dishes, shrimps are very large they are not small or medium. In my friend's words and I quote if you really want to go to a good restaurant in this area that is a buffet and you are craving multiple types of dishes I would highly recommend going to this buffet give it a chance you'll actually enjoy your experience. The people that run the restaurant buffet. The lunch price is different they do not have the oyster or the crab at lunch, but everything else is still the same they're busiest days are Friday Saturday and Sunday. Their slowest days for the week is Monday Tuesday and Wednesdays I suggest if you want to eat in the morning to the afternoon they open at 11:00 you can eat lunch it's the same thing as dinner minus the other things that were mentioned those are for dinners only & the weekends. 6. This 1 is for customer based observations it has nothing to do with the restaurant staff itself. If you are a customer & you're eating at this restaurant the things that was noticed, by families & people who are sloppy when they are getting the food at the food line not only are they on their phones trying to carry a plate they are consistently dropping food on the counters and on the floor causing food waste. Why? The employees having to constantly come back to clean up the mess of the customers. Children who are there are sucking their fingers and licking their fingers as they are touching the handles for the food at the line which can cause illnesses for other people. PARENTS need to Be Aware when you're getting food for your children, or when you allow your children, do not let this happen the employees aren't going to tell the parents' children don't do these things they will just continue to replace the ladles & the spoons that you have to scoop onto your plate. It was also noticed that a lot of the customers will take a lot of food & waste it so they will have to throw it away because these customers do not finish what they grab in fact I believe that there should be a charge for food waste at this restaurant buffet because they are providing good food & good service there, that it is not necessary to sit there & waste their food. Another 1 is that the people who are eating at their table are making the biggest mess as if they do not know how to eat. There is food all over the floor having the employees have to literally tear down everything to clean up the mess because these customers do not know how to treat this restaurant buffet, I would say, if you want this buffet restaurant to continue to look the way that it does try not to destroy their carpet & try not to destroy their chairs that are made of leather black leather of all things. There's that saying you can't ever have nice things because people keep destroying it! Well that goes the same thing for restaurants that upgrade for the benefit of the customers so they can have an enjoyable experience. My question is would you eat like that at your home? & Make that much of a mess? NO! I would think not! Thank you!
